Archery
Overview
Archery is a calm, focused sort of challenge. You draw, you aim, you breathe, you loose, and you watch the arrow fly. Hitting the gold is brilliant, but so is the steady rhythm of it, which is why people find it surprisingly relaxing.
It is very beginner-friendly. The basics of stance and release come in minutes, and you do not need to be strong to start, just consistent. It scales nicely from a one-off taster to a proper hobby with your own kit.
The instructors on adventuro run sessions and coaching with bows, arrows and safety gear provided. Fair warning, the competitive streak in your group will appear within about three shots.
